QHY163M- cooled usb3.0 planetary/deep sky Cold CMOS camera
The QHY163M/C camera has 4.3 inch, 16 megapixel size CMOS sensor with 3.8um pixels. It has both a mono version and color version, USB3.0 interface, 23FPS@16mega pixel full resolution output, and 30FPS@4K HD video output.
QHY163M has very low readout noise and 8/12bit ADC. Two stage TEC cooling and the typical maximum delta T is -40 below ambient. It has the full airproof CMOS Chamber and the electric heater for the optic window to prevent the dew issue.
Making this an outstanding Deep Space and Planetary camera. The QHY163 should be considered the next generation camera replacing the QHY9, 21,22,and 23.
There three main differentiating features of this camera over the competition:
- Anti Dew heater to eliminate condensation and ice from forming on the camera
- Anti Amp Glow circuit to reduce the amp glow in long duration images
- 128mb of on board DDR to speed download times and reduce dropped frames issues.
